A fella by the nickname of Ramiel asked today, what do we do to fight the power without calling ourselves terrorists? because terrorism is so 90s. terrorism is out. his words, not mine.

The answer he had was give them heros. and then it degenerated into so much bong water. but he's got the right idea. you initiate yourself into something that lifts you up rather than brings you down.

So, if terrorism is like nu metal ("shut up! shut up! shut the fuck up!" "yeah, shut up too, POD. Get your GEDs.") then what is pop music akin to? of course I'm going to jump up on the pulpit and say Jesus. Or Allah. Or Peter and Paul.

The Pretty Girl and I were talking in class, today, and she pointed to a desk that said "jesus loves u! :) " Which we both snickered over for quite a while, since, it's so heartening to hear, from such a valid source. Why does no one ever write 'Allah loves u! :) ' on desks?

So the verdict is, terrorism is out. We kind of knew that, the way the news is headed ("War On Terrorism!" "Stamp Out Iraq!" "I'm Rolling My Eyes!") since anything that smells of terrorism is stepped on and crushed underfoot. King Mob wouldn't survive under these circumstances. he'd be holding a pistol, a 9 mm, an AK-47, and looking around, everywhere, he'd have a new place to aim it.

Maybe Fanny has the right idea, instead. It's the magic that holds you, that fights back. it's not arms, it's lipstick. It's not violence, it's dancing. And of course, glittering as much as possible.

do whatever it takes to stay happy. just do it. smile and dance. do your thing.
