on this foreign planet I call home, in the last few days i've:

a. given advice on severe depression (ahahahahaHAH);

b. broken my xbox (again); and

c. dearoldlove'd about an engagement ring.

moral of the story, I think, is this. on this foreign planet, I find myself the lighthouse keeper; tucked away from choice, forgetting to call home, with a long enough front walk that people don't knock on the door, and I don't come down.
