for someone who moves so often, there are few things in one's life that fill me with more dread than attempting to find a new apartment/condo/place of residence.

once the decision has been made on a new place, that anxiety melts away into "okay, good. this is your house now." but being able to categorically say "yes, this is the right place to be" is like needles under the skin - because quite frankly, in the cities I've lived, nowhere seems to be The Perfect Apartment.
