this headache has morphed into a tight band around my skull, like if a hairnet was trying to eat your head. massage helped for a while, though perhaps it was just the laying down in a prone position, for ninety minutes.

attempting to sleep didn't help, either, because it's hard to sleep when a metaphorical hairnet is eating your brains. not to mention, you aren't sleepy.

maybe dinner. maybe death.
