What's your strangest "Peter Milligan" story?

The day Pete travelled 400 miles to Glasgow for a dynamic, outrageous, drug-fueled plotting session. This was to be Bizarre Boys day - the strangest, most deranged 24 hours of our lives. Instead we spent the entire day and night zoned out in front of afternoon, then evening, then nighttime television, unable to produce a single interesting thought between us.

ST: What ever happened to the Bizarre Boys comic you were going to write with Grant Morrison?

PM: I think probably Grant and I talked it into oblivion. Some pages were written. Many more were discussed and stored in the invisible library.

ST: In his introduction to Enigma, Morrison tells a story about you standing on the rocks at Lerici where poet Percy Shelley was drowned, drunkenly yelling, "You've had Shelley but you won't have me!" and in interviews you've mentioned a "perverts' convention" which you and Morrison attended in Barcelona. Do you have any other equally interesting stories to share with us?

PM: I'd like to but do you have any idea how litigious Morrison has become?

ST: Fans upset with your X-Force revamp definitely weren't shy about writing rude letters and posting nasty messages on the Internet even before the book even came out. Did you ever second-guess the direction you wanted to take? Did you get any particularly rude or memorable hate letters?

PM: We knew this was going to happen. The new characters in the book were to be painted as having a love-hate relationship with their public. Unwittingly, all those distraught acolytes of the old X-Force became extras in a diabolical experiment.
