it's 5:04 am, on September 17, 2003 - crazy cat stories.

~

Craziness update - Time spent crying today over grief: one hour. Page reached in book of the summer: six-fifty. again. So, that's fifty pages of progress, right?

Previously, we've had the journal cliche of Disa's life is a failure, she has no job, no life, no friends, no prospects, la la la.

Stepping away from that for a moment, I'd like to delve into the other journal cliche realm - yes, it's true, stupid cat stories.

So our cat keeps jumping up the doorframes, incredibly insistent that she should be able to climb the walls, quite literally. She pounces on thin air, she tries to propel herself along the bottom of the couch with her claws. She attempts to pull herself along the floor whenever possible on her belly, rather than actually *walking*.

My sister is convinced she's trying to get on the ceiling for some nefarious purpose. Any time the cat does anything even remotely psychotic now, Shaun says, "she's trying to get on the ceiling."

Only time will reveal her plot.
