it's 7:05 pm, on September 10, 2006 - ice-water.

~

I met practically everyone I was attemping to cut away in the grocery store this morning. apparently I didn't go shopping early enough. it's funny; at certain times, I always return to the title of this kim stanley robinson short story. it was called "a short, sharp shock" - actually it was more like a novella - and I'm not sure why, but I always liked the phrase. it physically reminds me of a dash of ice-water to the face. let's see if we can prevent that in the future, hey, universe?.
