had a nice weekend; didn't do any laundry. intent to go home is more exciting than I expected it would be, however, still of the pretty firm opinion that five days is enough. napping this afternoon plus actually getting out of bed at one pm equals pretty damned awake despite it being eleven pm.

don't have any poetry to share with you specifically, today. still don't have a clue what to get certain members of the human race for christmas. am not humming sad songs, am not looking for new ones. the weather should be cold and clear. asked iTunes just now "how is life right now?" and it spat out 'sugarhigh' from Empire Records.

waiting to feel more settled, but getting to the point where it feels like I might be some day. right now, what I want most is a few days away from the city, out somewhere with a shoreline and some privacy. some day soon.
