it's 2:09 am, on June 04, 2007 - dream.

this is the dream:
you're dragging a body down to the ocean to hide it, that eventually by morning becomes little more than a packet of paper. you get lost, and can't find your way to the beach. you find yourself in the coast guard's (?) building, and manoeuver your way out until you finally find the pier, and the path down to the beach. you walk down the beach, and find someone's camping gear and fishing rod all scorched. the two campers are blissfully enjoying a sunrise swim. you ready yourself to throw the packet of paper into the ocean, when you realize it will float, so you start to weight it down. someone comes along as you fall into the water with all your clothing on from the size of the waves. somehow, she's heard you've killed this man, and knows you're hiding the body. you wake up full of adrenalin and terrified, because you've been found out. the morality of having taken the man's life in the first place is out of the question.
the body has the same name as the catcher for the blue jays. when you wake up, you can only vaguely remember the reason for murder, and that it was body one of two you had to hide that morning. the part of the dream you can remember starts on a dark city street with a sack of dead weight you have to haul off into safety. there was a lot more of it while you were asleep.

the thing, about being a hurricane trying to touch down in uninhabited regions, it still holds true. I'd like, however, to get at least one good night's sleep. I mean, it would be all well and good I suppose if I did manage to bury the symbol of my incomparable sadness and weight in the sand of logic, or even threw it into the symbolic-of-emotions ocean. but I didn't. I got found out, and just put the packet of paper back into my pocket, to wake up terrified.
