The moral of this whole adventure, so that you can skip the narration, is this: the more I get to know Will's boyfriend, the more I like him.

--the bobbleheads are nodding emphatically in agreement.

Let me explain the night. It starts like this.

Grandma's birthday dinner: Shauna and Disa arrive, six pm. Eat. Go for cake with cousins and grandparents; leave at eight thirty, due to Shauna and Disa being bored. Shauna and Disa decide to go out. Shauna calls boyfriend Matt, who says, 'yeah, pick me up'. Disa msgs girlfriend Rae; rae says, 'c'mon down'. Rae calls Will (who cannot have a tag, since he is simply Will); Will says 'call back!'

Shauna and Disa get ready; pick Matt up. Time: approximately nine thirty pm. Drive to Rae's. Arrive at Rae's, and find Will, boyfriend Aaron, and friend Lydia already there. Do rather vague introductions.

Decide to go drinking, approximately ten thirty-- well, okay, Will decides to go out drinking -- because Disa finally has a credit card and is willing to pick up the tab. Decide to drink at Cactus club because Shauna and Matt are not, in fact, legal age and are, in fact, in grades nine and ten respectively. Waitress is bitchy; Will orders one round and, as a collective, people decide to leave. Do not tip.

This is a first in my life, the not tipping, by the way. Normally, I tip twenty percent at the least. I am a *generous* tipper. But she was that bitchy. I was like, hello, no. No. Such a bitch. And yes, she ID'ed Matt and Shauna.

But anyway, back to our narrative.

Leave, approximately eleven thirty, walk along Broadway. Decide that the Boston Pizza is a good idea, again. Will, Rae, Aaron and Disa went to Boston Pizza last Saturday as well. Or possibly Friday. Aaron has not been home since. Aaron is mostly living with Will. This fills Disa up with gooey glee. They are very insanely cute together.

Order drinks, and joy and rapture, the girl does not ID, nor does she care that we have two fifteen year olds with us. Girl is named Angie. Order drinks. Order drinks. Everyone but Disa drinks the drinks. Disa looks mournfully at the drinks, and every once and a while, takes a meager sip. Aaron feels sorry for Disa. Disa feels sorry for Disa. Disa wants to drink.

Aaron does a body shot off Will. Rae does a body shot off Disa. Shauna does a body shot off Matt. The table beside us is full of very dull looking stockbroker-wannabe men. Will and Disa both secretly hope that they are scandalized.

Michael Stipe comes on the radio. Boston Pizza officially becomes the gay bar on Broadway.

Disa watches people drink. Lydia and Aaron start talking about anal sex. Julian calls Rae-- Julian drops by. Julian is, no. Disa doesn't like Julian. Disa makes Rae switch seats with her so that she doesn't have to sit by Julian, and is therefore sitting across from Aaron. Disa likes this setup, as, as was mentioned before, Disa likes Aaron very, very much. Disa also does not like Julian.

Aaron is his usual cute little self. Aaron is attracted to Shauna. Aaron is weirded out, and apologizes to Disa. Disa shrugs. Julian freaks Disa out by saying he wants to fuck Will. Disa mentally vomits.

Angie brings everyone a round of free drinks. Angie instantly becomes everyone's favorite person. Angie racks herself up another fifteen percent in tip.

Will hits on Shauna. Matt doesn't seem to notice. Aaron goes pee outside. Matt and Shauna and Will have a smoke outside. Lydia is cool. Rae is pissed off, a little; Julian is a weirdo.

Will becomes more assoholic; Aaron and Disa conclude that they must talk and hang out more, since they both have to deal with Will on a regular basis, and sometimes one needs a support mechanism for that. Aaron actually asks for Disa's phone number. Disa would be thrilled with this, as she mentioned before that Aaron is the cutest thing since sliced bread, except she knows that they'll get together and take a break from Will. Disa doesn't mind. Sometimes, she needs a break from Will too. It's nice to have someone to talk to.

Disa misses having people to talk to. People do many, many, many shots.

Angie brings another free round of drinks. Angie goes up a thousand points on the cool-o-meter. Will asks if she's working next saturday; Angie says yes. Tentative plans are made to come back because fuck, yes.

Aaron and Disa want to go dancing. Rae eats a lime. Aaron says something like, Disa can be his new friend, as opposed to his old friends that suck. Disa likes this, because she's really, really not good at small talk, and is shy, and seems to actually be getting along with Aaron. This is new, and she nods emphatically.

Julian is weird. It's Julian's birthday. Will is kind of an asshole. Matt gets drunker. They convince free cake out of Angie, for Julian's birthday. No one really eats it.

Eventually, the bill comes. It comes to a total of $225; Disa was expecting more, and is rather thrilled. The tip comes out to $75, to make it an even three hundred. On the bill, there are twenty shots, five double highballs, five rum and cokes, two special drinks, and about ten other assorted drinks. Aaron boggles. Will says that's nothing. Disa boggles, for at the Cactus club, this would come out to over four hundred bucks.

Everyone leaves. Time, approximately two thirty am. Rae sings spice girls. There's a small incident at the Mac's, which is resolved when Shauna goes pee at Rae's apartment.

Disa drives Matt and Shauna to Will's place, while Aaron drives Will and Lydia, at approximately three am. Disa is worried about Aaron driving, but can't do anything about it, so just follows behind and hopes they'll be okay. No road blocks. After a minimum of fuss and a small drug deal, Matt, Shauna and Disa leave, approximately four. Matt gets car-sick. Shauna falls asleep. Disa does eighty miles an hour the whole way home. Arrive home, five thirty in the morning, due to daylight savings.

So that was my adventure. We almost went up to Whistler tonight, except people were in the cabin; Aaron was up for it. Matt was up for it. Shauna was tentative. It was Will's idea. Rae said no.

I think Aaron's adjusting to his life with Will in it, the crazy, the insane. He said tonight that it's crazy, but he really loved him a lot. And that they're like an old married couple already. Both of which are true; and I get gooey. Goo, utterly! It's like Justin and Brian. I think I might be a bit infatuated with Aaron. This is all right; it'll pass.

Anyway. Like, like, like Aaron. Want this one to stay.
